Some new releases for Cozy Kids!

So I was working on the last house and decided to put it up at home for our family.  Molly decided she wanted an owl bedroom.  So this is what I came up with.

It has a new draped blanket like the adult beds, which give them a far more realistic look.  The owl has child animations in it and holds several children and new homework chairs.

Considering I made one for the girls, I thought I had best make one for the boys.

The boys room is in a sports theme with lots of accessories for your little man!

I also released a new doll for the girls.  You can hold her or put her on your bed to keep you company.  The clothes are texture change with four different colours to choose from.  You can also choose the eye colour.  When you touch the pompom on her head, she will speak random things.  You can edit the notecard so she will say whatever you like.  You can also rename her, to make her your very own.

Yay ~ It's official ~ Fall is on it's way!

I've been feeling the chill in the evenings, the sun is setting earlier, so it's unavoidable, fall is on it's way.  I truly love the rich display of autumn colours that nature brilliantly displays for us each year.  I love a drive in the country to see the spectular view.  With this new house, I decided to bring some of those colours indoors.

I recently adopted my Kenzi (aka Isla), she brightens my day, each and every day.  So I thought I'll build a new home for us all to live in.

This is a big, beautiful house, it has four bedrooms, lots of room to run and play.  Isla picked the design and with a little help from a friend, it all came together.  Lots of places to find a cozy nook of your own to snuggle up and take in the fall fireworks.

New Release ~ Dining Rooms & Kitchens ~ Oh and a new booster seat!

So I've been looking around at ~*Cozy Essentials*~ and all I could do was hang my head in shame.  So many of the items are outdated and needing updating.  So I basically walked around the store and started deleting.  I did save the boxes and I will be starting up a ~*Cozy Bargain Barn*~ for those who are looking for a deal.  Details on that to follow in the next few weeks.

So last week I worked on some new sofa sets with all new animations and some of the most adorable cuddles I have found in SL.  Since then I've been working on some new kitchens and dining rooms.  All these kitchens and dining rooms have animations for adults and children.  This release in the dining rooms you will find one chair has a booster seat for the kids.  They should fit both child avatar and tiny avatar and hide when not in use.

I have also made a separate booster seat for anyone who would like to add it to any dining room chairs they may already have.  They are texture change and have eight different textures to choose from.  The ones in the new chairs, are connected so they will move in and out with the chair.

I have also had many requests for the ~*Cozy Up Benchseat*~, so I have made them in several different woods and textures.

The meaning of Second Life .... is there one?

So I was sitting around talking to my sisters about what they think the meaning of Second Life is ... Robin says, to be abused and generally screwed over?  Eva on the other hands has no idea.  I think Eva's purpose in Second Life is to keep the general economy moving.  Which she does very well by the way. 

Turning to my thoughts, that is a very difficult question to answer.  For me it's about creativity, spending time with the people I have grown to love and admire.  There has been so many changes over the years, so many people that have come and gone.  Many of them I will never forget and there several I wish I had never met.

These two ladies are amongst what I would consider true friends.  They don't put on any fault pretense to impress anyone.  I know that when I meet them in person, it will be just the same as sitting down and having a coffee together in Second Life.

Other people in Second Life, pretend to be what you want them to be.  Secure and confident, when in fact they are the exact opposite and instead of recognizing their weakness and attempting to correct their issues they blame everyone else.  This is what I refer to as master manipulators, people who downright lie to you about anything from their real sex (male/female), to lying about their true feelings about you.  Unfortunately any kind of deception makes the entire relationship based on lies and lies are never a good foundation for a relationship.

I have watched with amusement for many years people partner, unpartner, repartner, fall in love in a week, have big beautiful weddings only to break up within a day or two.  Does being in a virtual world mean that you can turn your feelings on and off without feelings or regrets?  For some the answer to that question is yes, for anyone with a conscience, no.  If feelings are true, there is no switch to turn them off.  It's a process, like losing a loved one, eventually it just doesn't hurt quite so much, but that pain will never quite go away completely.
